Quadcopter Build Diary – Part 1 – Parts
Having fallen in love with a new hobby after plenty of time playing with my first quadcopter I decided it was time for an upgrade. After some thought about what I’d like from this new quad I came up with some rough criteria.
- Not pre-built
- Able to carry a go pro
- Eventually be able to add first person view functionality
- Not cost a fortune!
Nothing too restrictive here. Basically I wanted something that would give me lots of chances to learn during this project while also being future proof. These are the parts I came up with (and their rounded current costs)
